Itinerary

Day 1&2: We collect you at Windhoek International Airport, from where we head to the base camp of the AfriCat foundation, Okonjima Lodge.

Okonjima provides several optional activities which include the seeing of cheetahs and leopards from close proximity. (D)

Day 3: From Okonjima, a chartered flight will be taking you to the luxurious bush camp of Onguma tented camp, on the outskirts of the Etosha National Park.

Your guide will meet you here later during the day.

This is a lovely place to just sit back, enjoy a drink at the swimming pool, while overlooking the nearby waterhole frequently visited by game. (B/L/D)

Day 4: We leave Onguma behind, for a long game drive through the Etosha National Park. We should reach Okaukuejo Resort before lunch. The rest of the day can be spend, either at the swimming pool, or the quiet of the waterhole. This waterhole also provides for light during night, which makes a great experience for night-time game viewing. The water hole is quite often visited by elephant, rhino, zebra and several antelope species. (B/L)

Day 5: After breakfast, we commence with another game drive in the Okaukuejo area. From here, we travel to Eagle tented camp.

The Safari Camp is situated on a private game farm and hosts 21 different antelope species. (B/D)

Day 6: From Epacha, we work our way towards the beautiful landscapes of Damaraland. We overnight at Damaraland Camp. During the afternoon, a game drive is conducted in search of the mysterious desert elephants. (B/L/D)

Day 7: More time is spend amongst the hills and plains of Damaraland. The gravel road takes us to Erongo Wilderness Lodge, at the foot of the Erongo Mountains. (B/L/D)

Day 8 & 9: Our destination for the day is the rustic town of Swakopmund; you can either relax, or choose to do a scenic flight over the highest sand dunes in the world, Sossusvlei (optional). You sleep over at The Stiltz. (B)

How about a dolphin cruise (optional) from Walvis Bay? This trip is recommended for those enjoying the smell of the ocean, dolphins, birds and the taste of fresh oysters. You should be back in Swakopmund before lunchtime.

Day 10&11: Your NamibianĀ guide (which by now feels like an old friend), takes you for a scenic drive towards Zebra River Lodge, within close proximity of the spectacular Sossusvlei. This is where your safari with Wild at Heart comes to an end.

Day12: A chartered flight takes you to Windhoek's international airport, in time for your flight home.
